GO4SIGNS PROJECT STUDY
Curry King: mirror-gold 3D letters
A restaurant shopfront defined by dimensional lettering, a reflective gold finish and a dark fascia.

The finished shopfront
The Curry King project in our portfolio features mirror-gold stainless-steel 3D letters across a dark shopfront fascia. The business name is the main element, with a leaf motif between the words and a smaller line identifying the Indian takeaway and grill.
The photograph shows how the lettering relates to the whole frontage: the sign sits above the glazing and entrance, while the window carries a further version of the brand. The result brings the business name into both the upper fascia and the customer’s view at street level.
The details that shape the design
Dimensional lettering. The raised characters have visible depth and edges, separating the name from the flat background.
Mirror-gold finish. Reflections change the appearance of the letter faces as the surrounding light changes. The finish gives the name a different character from a flat printed panel.
Contrast and hierarchy. Gold letters sit against a dark fascia. The smaller supporting line leaves the main name as the focal point rather than giving every piece of information equal weight.
Considering a similar 3D sign?
This project is a useful reference when comparing a reflective finish with other dimensional-letter options. Your own lettering needs to be considered alongside the logo proportions, available fascia space, viewing distance and fixing surface.
Explore our 3D signs and lettering for construction and lighting choices, or our shop signs for a wider look at frontage options. A gold finish does not, by itself, specify whether a sign is illuminated; lighting should be discussed separately for your project.
Start with your space.
Send your logo, approximate sign dimensions, installation location and a photograph of the premises. Our Wednesbury team can discuss the design, materials and installation requirements for your quotation.
